5 Weeks to go!!

So it has been a week since we've been back from break. The last few exams are being given and the study lounge is filled every night. Now, only 5 weeks until finals. Still not quite sure what the weather was doing, it was looking like spring the other day but then today their was snow? Well it is almost April, which means final are around the corner. Studying for the last few exams this past week and the following week is tiring but were getting closer and closer to summer!! : ) This year has flown by a lot quicker than I thought it was going, but I am definitely ready for some fun in the sun ; )
Other than exam news, I had my first Audiology observation today. It was awesome, I'm looking more into Speech Pathology but it was definitely very interesting! Tomorrow will be another early morning getting things ready for the fall in the sorority.
Well, I will post back at the end of this coming week and see what else happens. : )

Spring Break Fun

Unfortunately I didn't go on vacation for spring break but it was nice to make some extra cash. I went back to my job of 3 years, the amazing DQ and worked everyday over break. Some other friends from High School didn't go on their spring break until our last weekend of break so working everyday wasn't a big deal at all.
Easter Sunday was great, my family came over and instead of having an Easter dinner because I had to head back to school we had a huge Easter breakfast and as a part of tradition my younger brother and I found Easter eggs outside.
Saturday, March 22nd, My friend had her beautiful baby boy. We always made jokes about how she better have it before my roommate and I had to go back to school and she did. The night before we had to leave. He weighed in at 8pounds 9 oz.
So, I didn't have any fun in the sun or time on the beach but this spring break was busy and on top of that I finally have money again.
After time away from school, its time to get back on track and study for the last few exams I have. Spring break was fun, but it's good to be back.

So it's been a while since I've been able to post a blog, but as normal I have been pretty busy. I went home this weekend for the first time in about a month, it was nice but I felt like I needed to get back to school, weird I know but theirs alwasy so much going on.Song fest for the greek community was this past weekend, I wasn't able to go but I know everyone had a lot of fun.Midterms are right around the corner, so everyone on my floor is studying. Things with the sorority are going great, very busy but it wouldn't be right if we wern't. I'm taking a little!! She finds out who I am tomorrow, I am very excited!Founders day for the sorority is on Satruday, it should be fun. I want to see what it is exactly.

Lip Sync

So this weekend was super busy but a lot of fun! Lip Sync was saturday at 6:00pm. It was a great turn out and very intertaining to watch all the sororities and fraternities dance and lipsync in this event held by Delta Zeta. All the hard work that everyone put into this event really showed and payed off. For the sororities Alpha Phi came in first, Chi Omega came in 2nd, and Delta Gamma came in third! We all did a GREAT job! Now, everyone has to look forward to song fest, which I am super excited about!So to add on from my post from last week, all the studying really paid off. I got 2 A's on both exams!! So, yeah it's nice to have those over with. Two more to go this week and then Im working on a paper!! So maybe after the next 2 weeks things will start to slow down. However, I like being busy it makes the weeks fly by, and I'd rather stay on campus than take a weekend and go home. Theirs to many things going on right now to leave, and it is kind of nice.

Busy Week

So, this past week has been extremly busy, but not in a bad way and I can only expect the same for this week. All of my exams seem to be one after the other. Basically this last week has been nothing but late night studies and meeting up with friends at the library which I know will all pay off when the exam scores are in. Studying can keep any college student very busy but ontop of the exams, lip sync is right around the corner, which I am extremly excited about! So not only has it been late nights up studying, but also at the house dancing and preparing for lip sync with my amazing sisters. The upside to all of this, is I can't tell where one week ends and the other begins. The weeks are flying by and before I know it spring will be here.

Today couldn't have been any better. SNOW DAY! Except for the fact that it is pretty cold outside and the roads arn't that great but its a chance to catch my breath. Perfect to go over notes, watch a movie, and relax a little bit.

Although, after always having something to do and something going on it's weird to think, "Wow, no classes today" I'll finish today off by shopping for a our pretty awesome cosutmes for lipsync, practicig and studying!
